Equality Pennsylvania

Equality Pennsylvania is an organization which advocates throughout the state of Pennsylvania for LGBT rights. Equality Pennsylvania also attempts to “advance LGBT-friendly policy and legislative initiatives”. The organization is a member of the Equality Federation.

William Way LGBT Center

The William Way LGBT Community Center serves the LGBT community of Philadelphia and its allies 365 days a year. From social groups, networking events, and counseling and support services to art exhibitions and cultural experiences, the Center consistently strives to provide new and innovative programs for the LGBT communities of Philadelphia.

Persad Center

PERSAD CENTER is a human service organization whose mission is to improve the well-being of the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning) communities, and the HIV/AIDS communities. Bradbury Sullivan Center

The Greater Erie Alliance for Equality, Inc. (GEAE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the region’s LGBT community and its straight allies through educational programs, social events, and opportunities for service, which are designed to strengthen our voice and improve the quality of life in northwestern Pennsylvania.

NWPA Pride Alliance

Incorporated in March, 2012, NW PA Pride Alliance, Inc works to improve visibility of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersexed and Ally/Asexual (LGBTQIA) community. SisTers PGH is a transgender centered drop-in space, resource provider and shelter transitioning program based in Pittsburgh, PA. As a black, trans-led organization, SisTersPGH is uniquely situated to help trans and non-binary people in Allegheny County find the resources they need to thrive.

Equality Forum

Equality Forum coordinates LGBT History Month, produces documentary films, undertakes high-impact initiatives and presents the largest annual national and international LGBT civil rights summit. Equality Forum produces these innovative events in collaboration with learning institutions, professional associations, research centers, for profit companies and nonprofit organizations.

PA Commission on LGBTQ Affairs

The Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs is the first of its kind in the nation. It was established by an Executive Order from Governor Tom Wolf in August 2018. Its goal is to advise the Governor and state agencies regarding policies, programs, and legislation that impact LGBTQ communities and to serve as a resourceful intermediary between LGBTQ communities and state government. It is composed of appointed commissioners from across the Commonwealth, each acting as a representative and advocate for LGBTQ communities.
